Author's Notes on Series II
It was time to abandon MSPaint for quality and workflow purposes. At the time, I still did not have access to an Adobe Creative Suite, and even if I did, I wouldn't know how to use it. I needed something familiar, a bit more robust and free. That's when I found Paint.NET.
Paint.NET allowed me to do everything I did in MSPaint, but now with layers! Prior to this change, I literally had to erase backgrounds to accomodate speech bubble or character positioning changes.
The first comics of Series II are admittedly rough (I didn't understand perspective and I was trying to freehand most things). This got better with time.
